Our Parish

At St. Richard`s, we are committed to establishing and strengthening strong links with our parish.  Father Kenny is our parish priest and is a regular visitor to our school. The whole school also enjoys attending mass at special times during the year including Advent, Holy Week and for the Year 6 leavers Mass. 

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

We work alongside the parish to help to guide and support our children to  make their Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  The children prepare for these special occasions by attending a number of sessions in church, usually on a Saturday.

To take part in these Sacraments, your child must be baptised. Baptism  can be arrange through the church to take place at set dates during the year.  The sacramental program is usually undertake in Year 4 however we are happy to help facilitate this at  a later stage.  Please contact the parish priest in church for more information.
